About The Springfield Singers

A women's choir for all voices — singing with heart since 1984

Who We Are

The Springfield Singers ladies’ choir has been making music in the Forest of Dean since 1984. Although we rehearse in Lydney, our members come from across the Forest and surrounding areas.

We enjoy learning and performing a wide variety of pieces — from chart hits to folk, classical, and sacred music — making our repertoire truly extensive. We’re led by our talented Musical Director, Tracey, a seasoned conductor with decades of experience, and accompanied by Annette, a gifted pianist who also works as a singing teacher. More Than A Choir

Performing is at the heart of what we do- we take part in, and host several concerts each year, sharing the stage with a diverse array of talented musicians. We often sing in support of our chosen charity. We are available to sing at weddings and private events; plus Springfield voices, a smaller unaccompanied group, are available to perform mainly at Christmas in smaller venues such as care homes.

But we are more than just a choir, we are a community. members enjoy social events throughout the year — from nights out to informal gatherings, many come for the music and find friendship.

Interested in joining? You will be very welcome. Come and sing, laugh, and grow with us.
